Este trabajo lo empezaron en octubre del año pasado bajo las riendas de Danny, siempre con la idea que, al volver Denis de sus vacaciones, pasara a estar a cargo èl hasta que se terminara. Pero tambien, ya se sabia, que había que renovar Mauna Kea golf en la Isla Grande.
Yo con muchos deseos que lo mandaran a Denis ahì porque es la isla que màs me gusta!
En Pearl se estan renovando los greens y algunos bunker, tambien se estàn cerrando o/y haciendo algún bunker nuevo. Otra empresa esta poniendo todo un sistema de riego nuevo, la cancha esta cerrada; hasta estàn arreglando el club house. Toda una renovación en toda la propiedad!
The renovation on this golf course started last year, in October. Danny has been running it while Denis was on holidays, nice boss!! Once we were back in US Denis was to take over it. He has been at the job site for the last 3 month but now, is time to move on to another project that was already, schedule to start this April. Danny will continue with Pearl CC.
I’m very happy that he is assigned to run the job in Big Island because I love it there!
The job in Pearl consisted on the renovation of greens, bunkers and irrigation; this one was assigned to another company. Also, the club is remodeling the club house, so the golf course is closed.
The company is renovating all greens, some bunkers, closing some of them and adding new ones to other areas. For now they have totally finished 6 greens and finished shaping some bunker, thou these are to be completely finished after the irrigation is complete installed in all areas.
La tormenta de la foto hizo un poco de daño en secciones ya trabajadas; en general, no llueve tanto en la cancha como en casa!, menos mal!! Creo que solo dos o tres veces en los tres meses que estamos aquì no pudieron trabajar el dìa completo.
Thou it has been raining a lot at home, it has not at the golf course!, but the storm in the picture dropped quite a bit of water that day and did a bit of damaged…
Over all, I don’t think they had to stop for a whole day because of the rain, I think it only were few hours here and there. They’ve been very lucky!
Ya han plantado 6 greenes!, cuando planta, todos e inclusive, los empleados de la cancha se ponen manos a la obra! Esta semana era tal el ventarrón que tenían que ir regando a medida que plantaban para que no se volaran los pastitos….
Under Denis supervision, they have managed to finished 6 greens!; bunkers are still in the making.
While planting grass this last week they had to watered while planting because the wind was so strong that it was blowing the grass away… When planting, everyone, even the golf course’s employees are at work!!
