Los nietos tenían una semana de vacaciones, Addy se tomò esos dias también y nos fuimos a Anglesey en Gales, una isla, una belleza de lugar!!
Paseamos por un par de playas, muchísimo viento...! Visitamos un museo de autos en una tarde de lluvia!
The grandkids had a school break so Addy took some time of work too and we went to Welsh!, Anglesey! Beautiful island!
We walked at a windy beach! On a rainy afternoon we zoomed out to the local automobile museum, lots of old cars, machinery, military trucks and some small planes hanging from the roof!
Nos perdimos por un buen rato entre mariposas, reptiles, insectos y otros animales màs. Los chicos fascinados!! La variedad de mariposas!, a cual màs hermosa!!, se paran sobre uno como si fuéramos plantas!
Spent a long time at a small zoo with beautiful butterflies!, some creepy creatures!, rabbits and a donkey! A playground too! We all had fun! Butterflies will stop on people like if we were plants!
Celebramos Hallowing cortando zapallos y decorando la casa con dibujos de los chicos y los grandes!! A la tardecita salimos a hacer "trick or treat", algo como: "truco, chiste o golosinas"! por supuesto que los chicos siempre piden golosinas!!
También, le festejamos el cumple a Denis por primera ves todos juntos!!
We celebrated Hallowing carving pumpkins and decorated the house with hand made decorations! We went hunting for trick or treat and the boys had lots of fun!
Celebrated Denis’ birthday all together for the first time! So nice!
Visitamos un faro que esta construido en una isla chiquitísima! Hay 400 escalones para llegar al mismo. Miramos lo que alguna vez fue la casa del cuidador del faro, y nos contaron de la lampara del faro pero ya ni me acuerdo que dijeron! Ja! Ja! Para mi lo que vale es el paseo y la belleza total que lo rodea!
We visited a gorgeous light house!, another great walk with lots 400 steps! Saw the engine room, the building that was used as a house by the care taker and they told us the story of the lamp/light but I already don’t remember what they say!… ha! Ha!
Curiosos fuimos a ver un castillo sin terminar!! tal cual!, el castillo Beaumaris, todo lo que es pared esta semi terminado pero nunca tuvieron la intención de hacer habitaciones o ningún tipo de decoración!
Los chicos y Denis se la pasaron corrièndose por los corredores! Las pasarelas entre terrazas con pisos como de adoquín chiquito, bah, piedras redonditas! Una belleza!
El tiempo no nos acompaño mucho… lloviznas y mucho frio pero igual nos divertimos!
Another day we visited a “no quite finished” castle!, Beaumaris Castle. The boys, youngness and the old one!, played chase in its corridors! Very grandiose castle, lots of rocks was used to its construction. The path from one tower to another, the flor is all round rocks! So pretty!
Weather was no to kind to us… drizzled and very windy most of the day.
Paramos en el pueblo con el nombre màs largo de Europa!, y segundo largo en todo el mundo! Pavada de nombre!!
Drove by to the village with the longest name in Europe, the settlement with the longest name in the world! Pretty impressive!
Otra caminata!, 5 km alrededor de un dique! Otro museo, marítimo, dònde Leo le contò al cuidador todo sobre el barco Titanic, desde su tamaño hasta el ùltimo detalle de por què se undiò! Lo que enseña una tablet!
Ya saliendo de la isla paramos en otro castillo en bastante mal estado que nos contaron que están restaurando algunas habitaciones y los jardines, esta bastante atacado (cubierto!) por la vegetación natural del bosque que lo rodea. Impresionante de lugar contra la ladera de un cerro! una belleza!
Another cool hike around a dam! Another museum, maritime one; Leo told the old gentleman, caption of some sort of thing, volunteering on that day…, all about the story of the Titanic, why and how it sank! The guy was very impressed on how much Leo new!
On our way away from the island, we stopped by another castle, long and big building; with lots of areas overtaken by nature, it is in quite dispare. They are running some renovation to areas replacing the roof and some windows; the gardens are starting to be look after too.
